Why We Built This

Choosing an EMR should not be this hard. But for most physicians, it is. The market is crowded, the marketing is noisy, and every vendor claims to be the best at everything. We built BestEMRs because we believe physicians deserve better tools for making this decision. Instead of wading through dozens of generic review sites and vendor comparison pages, you should be able to answer a few honest questions about your practice and immediately see which systems are most likely to be a great fit for you specifically.

Our Approach

We do not publish ratings or rankings, because we do not believe in them. A system that would earn glowing marks from a large multi-specialty group might be completely wrong for a solo therapist, and no single number can capture that. Instead, we keep an honest profile of what each EMR is actually like, what it costs, what it includes, and who keeps choosing it, and the quiz matches your answers against those profiles.

The result is a short list tailored to your situation, with plain reasons attached, rather than a generic top-10 that treats every practice the same. We would rather hand you three genuinely good candidates and send you off to demos than pretend a quiz can make the final call for you.

Our Commitment to Independence

We strive to keep our approach independent and transparent. While our site may include affiliate links that generate revenue when you explore a recommended product, these commercial relationships never influence the matching logic. A vendor cannot pay its way onto your shortlist, and if a free option fits you best, that is what you will see.

We believe this commitment to independence is what makes our recommendations genuinely useful. If you cannot trust the advice, it has no value, and we would rather build something trustworthy than something merely profitable.
